"You Were Never Really Here" frustrated me beyond belief. I honestly failed to understand what all the hype surrounding this movie was. I thought it had some unique camerawork and maybe an okay performance from Joaquin Phoenix.
Besides that, I didn't really like anything about this movie. I thought the story didn't make a lick of sense and it felt overly confusing. I really tried to understand what was going on in this movie but honestly, if you asked me to explain the plot, I probably would have a really hard time.
This is one of the most overrated movies I've seen in recent memory. I did not enjoy watching it at all and was very disappointed by it.
