Review of You Only Live Twice (2007) by Ben T — 21 Dec 2014
After Goldfinger I feel all the Bond films stay the same quality, decent. You Only Live Twice is a step up from Thunderball as its much more entertaining. My big problem with You Only Live Twice is that the movie can't live up to the last 40 minutes.
Seriously the last 40 minutes are so good, but the rest of the film is just fine. Sean Connery doesn't look like he's having much fun, the action at the start is fairly forgettable and Sean Connery's impression of a Japanese man is laughably shit.
However once we get into that volcano the quality goes up and we finally get to see Blofeld. Overall this movie is fine, it has problems but it's pretty decent. B-.
