Review of You Only Live Twice (2007) by Afonso A — 09 Jun 2018
You Only Live Twice is a pacey spy thriller with no time for character development, but it makes up for it with sheer spectacle, whether it's the enormous volcano lair of the villain, the helicopter dogfights, or the space age plot.
It sometimes overreaches itself in terms of the special effects of the time, but the cinematography in Japan is beautiful, the locations are breathtaking, and the grand reveal of Bond's long time nemesis Blofeld doesn't disappoint.
