(1967) You Only Live Twice.

ADVENTURE/ ACTION.

As an action dude and if asked what Bond film is the most action packed without any CGI- it would be "Octopussy", "For Your Eyes Only" and "You Only Live Twice"! As far as action films is concerned, this also happens to be one of my all time favorite Bond film, solely because of the amount of action sequences it has! Plot involves Blofield's plan to pit two high military countries Russia and the United States who once fought sort of as allies during WWII, which started the Cold War to go an all out war with one another! Blofield attempts at doing this by creating a bigger rocket to capture their little rocket sent up to space! But because in terms of technology, it's obvious that the setting must be set in Japan, working with British Secret Service Bond has to work with Japan's Secret Agent, nick named Tiger! This film also includes Japanese ninjas(trained assassins) fighting alongside Bond, who use swords and guns who have actually been around in Japanese history! And besides the catchy music sung by Nancy Sinatra, it also has one of the best lines in terms of Bond films spoken by Blowfield himself "Kill Bond now"! The problem I had with other Connery as Bond films is that, although they have less action scenes in them and more story - they lack consistency if they're carefully watched word for word with the close captioning, of course!

Favorite Connery as Bond film, easy!

4 out of 4.
