If I hear the chorus to one more patriotic anthem spoken tunelessly by anyone, I think I'll get the dry heaves. Believe it or not, it's the tuneless speaking more than the patriotic anthems that disturbs me.
Even so, this movie's brand of patriotism was a bit hard for me to tolerate. I'm sorry. That said, the movie had some nice moments and Cagney is energetic at the very least.
