Review of Y Tu Mamá También (2001) by Robert C — 02 Jan 2014
This movie is okay but not worth all the hype it garnered. It's most notorious for its relatively explicit depictions of sexuality, but in reality it wants to show the strange way that petty bourgeois concerns can happen parallel to and intersect with more dire issues regarding class struggle.
That's fine, but when it comes to that subject I feel like "Paradise: Love" is more compelling.
