Review of xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017) by Quinn S — 10 May 2017

Vin Diesel return to the 3rd installment of the action pack movie after skipping the 2nd one. Looking forward to it but somehow the action wasn't as satisfying as the first. Samuel L.Jackson was recruiting Neymar to join him when suddenly a satellite crash and kill him.

Toni Collette is the new head now. At their headquarters meeting, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Tony Jaa and Michael Bisping crash the building and steal the Pandora Box, a new weapon that can control satellite to crash.

Toni gotta find Vin to retrieve it back and he get his own trusty crew (Ruby Rose, Kris Wu & Rory McCann) to assist instead of the soldiers. Vin enjoy his self imposed exile and reluctant to rejoin the job but somehow willing to do it due to the death of Samuel.

Nina Dobrev is the tech geek to help Vin. Soon Vin track down Donnie and gang hiding in an island resort. Deepika want to destroy the Pandora Box but Donnie seem to have another idea. Both sides square off and in a twist, Donnie and Deepika are XXX agents as well with own agenda.

Vin chase Donnie and manage to steal back the device. Deepika destroy it and join their group after the island fight with Russian soldiers. Another satellite crash despite the Pandora Box been smash. Toni informed it is prototype that was destroyed.

They review the CCTV and discover the director didn't flinch when Donnie crash in. And conclude he must be the ultimate rat. Both sides goes after him and Ruby manage to snipe kill him with Vin help.

Donnie is capture. Toni inform the XXX program shut down and all agents to be apprehend. The others are caught in gunfight with the assassin soldiers. Deepika dial SOS and Ice Cube arrive to save them.

Up one the plane, Toni reveal her true colors. Donnie and Vin combine to fight them all and win the day. The Pandora Box is smash for good. At the funeral, Samuel see Vin there, faking his own death once again.

Neymar is the newest recruit by him and he follow Samuel.
