My god. xXx is bad. Let's just get that out of the way. It's really bad, from a plot that falls apart if you question it for half a second, incredibly improbably sequences that *dare* you to maintain a suspension of disbelief, and a script that has Vin Diesel have sex with approximately 8 minutes within the first 20 minutes (not a joke).
Frankly, a lot of it is VERY funny; maybe intentionally so, maybe not. Being a throwback action film seems fine, but bringing along with it the casual sexism of the 80s and 90s is unacceptable, and tarnishes what could have otherwise been truly dumb ass fun.
