So "X-Men: The Last Stand" was given a better review than this installment? Really? That 3rd movie should be erased from film history. Most of the cast agree that the Phoenix Saga was slaughtered because of the director and writers. Even the actress playing Jean said she was disappointed in how the story was told.

While not as amazing as "Days of Future Past" and "X2", this was still a well put together film and it was kept under 150 minutes. Not every film can (or should) do what "Harry Potter", "The Hunger Games", those "Twilight" abominations and the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity Wars" does/did/planning on doing by splitting the last film in the series into 2 parts. Then the studios have the nerve to make fans wait a year between installments and then get greedy and release multiple home video versions. Even the "Resident Evil" series released a box set of the first 5 films knowing that the 6th and (apparently) last film in the series is coming out soon. "Harry Potter" has released box sets that have 8 discs, 16 discs, 24 discs and even a 31 disc box set.

This film has set up the perfect starting point to re-do the Phoenix Saga and get it right this time. Once again, there are too many trolls trying to stir the pot.
