Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Doug K — 01 Oct 2016

3 stars may be being nice. This was a very disappointing effort by Singer and crew. Took pieces of several different story lines and tried to rewrite them as one fluid piece. At least a few scenes made me believe that the creators allowed their teenage kids to write a bunch of pages. I counted at least 2 scenes that were a total, and bad, ripoff from Deadpool. And top it off by probably the worst final battle in recent super hero movie releases.

There were good things in there, but overall, I was very disappointed as I expected more.
