Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Frank G — 09 Nov 2016
Maybe because I'm not a full on fan boy to criticize every muddled detail. TImeline? Whatever, no big deal. It was slightly confusing at times because, maybe, I'm not a huge fanboy. In the end, it was an amazing movie that reeled me in, intrigued me, kept me interested to the end and delivered a beginning, middle and quality ending.
Huge fan of the series, but not crazy into the details that, I can imagine, might frustrate someone deeply engaged in the lore. DEFINITELY a 5 star, LOVED IT movie. I love the "young cast" from first class and days of future past, so naturally, I really enjoyed this gap filler.
Although I would definitely question the gaps in the TImeline or how this fits on chronologically. I can understand how it can be explained by someone more engaged in he overall lore, but to the "casual fanatic", some things can be questioned.
...to say the least. GREAT MOVIE. I will purchase this to complete the collection I already own. Highly recommended.
