Costner tries to recreate his Dances with Wolves epic with another Western period piece... to disastrous effect. So self-indulgent its surprising it wasn't called Kevin Earp. And Dennis Quaid's Doc Holliday is a rip-off of Val Kilmer's from Tombstone, made two years earlier and runs about that much less.
