Review of Wrong Turn (2003) by Michael W — 27 Jul 2011
One of my all time favorite horror movies. The movie has it all, tension, drama, suspense, good character development and a strong story. Stranded motorists hunted by cannibals is a scary theme, and the story builds on this theme with likeable characters who experience realistic situations.
Slowly the story unfolds which creates tension while the suspense builds of how and who will survive the ordeal. The only predictable part of the plot is the film gives the viewer a good idea of who will survive.
A solid movie which mixes fear of the woods with weirdos. I give Wrong Turn five scares out of five.
