Review of Wrong Turn (2003) by Patrick-Thomas G — 14 Oct 2009
Jeremy Sisto, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Eliza Dushku are all good actors. That being said I hated this movie with a passion. It is just another in an on going list of post 2000 new age horror movies. The thing is, that as bad as horror films are now days, this movie can be counted alongside a whole slew of these kinds of movies that are just way better than it is.
Even the "Saw" movies are better than this and I don't like them at all (2 1/2 is the best score any of them garnered from me). In other words don't bother with this movie! Pure Formula, just a re-hashing of a combination of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Hills have Eyes", and even the re-makes of those movies are better than this.
