As black comedy goes, it is certainly black but dont expect a bundle of laughs. More of a twisted satirical tale of deception and consequences while it also has something to say about how we deal with and react to a tragic event.

Extra credit to Robin Williams in a role that can easily be over-egged and acted but which he doesnt - instead he feels genuine and human. The soundtrack sometimes feels intrusive and some of the 'plot developments' seem a little forced - though still plausible in the dramatic context it is in - but the script is certainly intriguing and odd at the same time.
