Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Michael S — 29 Apr 2015
A movie that risks a lot because of it's dark, yet humorous story, but it's well worth the watch! The movie features Robin Williams as a father who just lost a son, in a very unusual way... He's a great actor, and this movie is no exception.
There are some really great jokes that will make you laugh out loud! But, there are also parts where you might feel uneasy due to how messsed up the story is. The soundtrack to this movie is awesome! Lots of indie rock bands (pointing out The Deadly Syndrome's I Hope I Become a Ghost, which is just brilliant).
All in all, quite a great comedy, with some depressing moments, and an unusual story which actually kind of does portray what would real people do if they ended up in a situation like Lance in the movie.
