Review of Woman in Gold (2015) by Steve M — 26 Jun 2015
The critics who say that this is a drawn, out overly complex story don't understand that this is an incredibly complex real life story. Dumbing it down to please critics with short attention span and would do this story a disservice.
I was deeply moved by the overwhelming feelings of history and a personal attachment to this story. The echoes of the terrible injustices done to so many people by the Nazis are history's responsibility to perpetuate.
This movie does a wonderful job of preserving a part of that story.
