A fascinating and impactful story featuring interesting characters yet it has trouble truly grappling onto audiences. Woman in Gold's biggest fault is that it too often cuts back into the past and stays there.
On one side it is great acting from two exceptional actors, on the other, it is an overly melodramatic corny history drama. This flipping back and forth greatly hurt the quality of the film.
