Review of Wolfen (1981) by Keithstake — 13 Oct 2018
This movie is a sheep in wolves clothing. While there is some classic horror gore, most of the movie is slow and seems to be more focused on mankind destroying the environment and pushing natives away from their ancestral land.
That seems like a good horror idea, but this film’s pace was far too slow. There was also a weird scene where the protagonist shows up to his partner’s house to save her from an imminent attack, but then they cut away and she’s giving him a bath and some cognac without much any buildup to a romantic relationship.
