John Jarratt's outstanding performance is more than this film deserves. His turn as a haunting psychopath is about the best part of this otherwise crap schlock-horror film purpoting to be grander than the sum of its parts.
Outside of Jarratt, this film is no better or worse than the myriad of American Horrors to spew over the cinemaplex each year.
