Based on true events doesn't necessarily mean that it makes a great story. This is mediocre horror fare, with not nearly enough effects to bring out any real scares or tension. The story is too easy to figure out and holds no surprises - even down to how stupidly the characters behave when they have the villain at a disadvantage. If you watch this, keep your expectations low, and you'll be more likely to enjoy it.
