Review of Within Our Gates (1920) by Dan M — 11 Oct 2008
Wasnt really that great. I had a hard time figuring out what was going on. There was a scene where the man finds out the women he is about to rape is his daughter, but you wouldnt know that unless you could see the small scar she had and then connect that to something that happened long ago.
Kinda confusing, but I understand this was a shot at Griffiths "The Birth of A Nation".
