Review of Wise Blood (1979) by Anonymous User — 01 Oct 2009
Thematically rich, subtly bizarre, tragic and engaging in practically every fashion. Brad Dourifs' performance is fantastic and the teaming of Flannery O'Connor's source material with John Huston's direction is a force to be reckoned with.
All in all, a harsh but fair treatment of religion melding with human depravity.
