Review of Wise Blood (1979) by Nick M — 16 Nov 2009
This film, directed by the great John Huston is probably the most unique Southern gothic tale I've ever seen. The humor is dark and ironic as if taken from a Coen brothers movie. Also, Brad Dourif gives probably his finest performance as the misguided, uneducated and ultimately psychotic protagonist.
