Review of Winter's Bone (2010) by Sam N — 17 Jul 2012
This is an epic story about a strong kid who takes no bullshit, who takes care of herself and her siblings in absence of her parents. Things seemed normal since the bountiful nature was providing this huntress a good deal of winter flesh and bone but then the scenario changed with policemen threatening to take her shelter away if she didn't come up with her crook father.
How this young and brave lady, hunts her father's whereabouts and saves her family despite being beaten to death upon landing into a merciless territory of local mafia of her own immediate cousins, is worth watching.
