After writing "Sicario," "Hell or High Water" (my favorite film of 2016), and now with his directorial debut (which he also wrote), I just can't wait to see what Taylor Sheridan will do next (he's writing a "sequel" to "Sicario").
His films have such a sense of place. You feel like he knows the world his characters live in well, and these stories so carefully unfold themselves. Definitely one of the best I've seen in 2017. Elizabeth Olson and Jeremy Renner are fantastic.
