Review of Wind River (2017) by Jordan P — 16 Oct 2018
I loved this movie because of how it gripped me emotionally, and how the characters seemed real, rather than just acted parts. There are real problems regarding reservation relations that we are not properly addressing, and this has weighed heavily on me since watching Longmire, which this film reminded me a lot of (even had a lot of the same actors).
The film both made me fear for the well-being of my future children, rose the inner bear in me against the antagonists of the film, and showed how justice should play out, even if that is often not seen in the real world.
The movie is thrilling and keeps you completely glued to it until the credits roll.
