A just mediocre film compared to the 2005 masterpiece. In this film, the filmmakers added many things that weren't in the book, including things needed in the plotline, making this film very untrue to the book.
While the new version has some added things as well, it shows better than the proposterous things in this movie. The only likeable highlight is Gene Wilder's performance.
