Review of Wild Zero (1999) by Rhanda D — 20 Feb 2009
This has all the pieces of a film I should like yet somehow doesn't come together in a good way. I was expecting a Japanese Troma film and what I got was decidedly different. Between the zombies, the rock n' roll hereos, the decidedly cult bent and the ludicrousness of the action, this should've really worked, but jump cuts and pacing doomed it.
"Wild Zero" seems to be a favorite for a lot of people, but it just missed the mark for me.
