Review of Wild Zero (1999) by Thomas W — 16 May 2010
I just watched Wild Zero, what a bizzar little movie that was. I thought it had some cool elements to it and the acting was good, but the story was just....well weird.
Guitar Wolf was cool as hell. The action was pretty decent. The Zombie's were ok. I dont know what I really think of this one. On first opinion i'd say ita about a 6/10, but maybe it will get better on a second viewing. Don't know. I really have to give it a second chance, but I really dont think its gonna get better on repeated viewings. I dont know really. Weird is the word for it.
Not something I think I'd watch alot. Something to pop in once a year maybe and watch. I dont really know. I guess on one hand I liked it and on the other hand I didn't. I dont really know where my opinion lays on this one.
For those of you who haven't seen this film. I'll give you a brief synopsis. Its about A Meteor crashing to earth. Zombies a Rock Band called Guitar wolf and some other really bizzar stuff. Thats really about the only way I can describe the film. Its a Japanese film and is subtitled as well. I Dont know if there is an English version or not.
Its worth a look even if to just say you've seen it and i'm sure you'll be as befuddled as I was.
