Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by Seth M — 08 Dec 2007

After seeing and loving "The Seventh Seal" and knowing the reputation this film had I had high hopes for this film. Unfortunately, I just did not find it entertaining. There are some interesting scenes here and there and Sjostrom does a good job as Borg, but as a whole the film falls flat.

This whole movie comes off as a "message film" proclaiming that the viewer should "live life to the fullest" and while it hammers that point home, it forgets to put in strong dialogue, good character interaction, or anything else that keeps me involved.
