Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by Raül J — 26 Dec 2007
Nothing bad to say about it, but age really take its toll in here. You can see it in the acting, the problems with the internal rythm of the film and with the dialogues, disconnected and sometimes forced.
On the positive way, you can see that the idea and some parts of the plot were reviewed/homaged in W.Allen's Deconstructing Harry, so credit Bergman for giving (I know that what I'm saying will be considered a major offense by classic moviegoers) Allen the initial material to make one of his masterpieces.
