I never read the book - I apologize already to the people who will hate me for saying that, but I didn't know anything about the story before I watched the movie. Having not read the book, I never knew what to expect during certain points.
Overall, I thought it was original, interesting and definitely showed you a glimpse into an interesting woman's life story.
