Watched this the other night and found it very thought provoking. It gave me a much greater insight into people near and dear to me who find it necessary to wander into the wilderness from time to time.
Drug use & sex abound, especially some graphic scenes of sex - strangely unerotic, though. Rather both the sexuality and the drug use contribute to the depiction of how much this dear lady messed up her own life before she took this spirit walk.
Reese Witherspoon is extremely good in the role as is Laura Dern.
