Review of Wife vs. Secretary (1936) by James C — 07 Mar 2011
This has a strong cast, but the film is kind of depressing. While the end resolves morally with Gable and Loy together, Harlowe has been led on by Gable and has to settle for the James Stewart -- who really shines in his bit part.
Stewart, however, is written to be a sap.
