Review of Wife vs. Secretary (1936) by K D — 24 Apr 2008
Not one of my favorite Gable films but I think it was still a great film, especially for its time. I enjoyed the storyline most of all, very interesting how it played out, especially the confrontation between the two leading ladies.
The one thing I couldn't stand was Myrna Loy's sobbing... it was like nails on a chalkboard to me! Other than that, nice movie, looking at it from a 1936 point of view.
