Review of Why We Fight (2005) by Jonathan S — 20 Dec 2007
"Why We Fight" doesn't have the dramatic impact of Farenheit 9/11 but it does follow many of the same themes without Moore's sketchy logic, probably because it deals more with the economics of war than the more human elements.
While the documentary is very compelling, the scattered editing makes it hard to follow at times; it doesn't have a central narrative and skips about. It's certainly worth watching but several different choices could have been made on the part of the director to turn a mediocre documentary into a great one.
