Review of Why We Fight (2005) by Lori B — 14 May 2011
If I would have seen this film when it was released, I probably would have given it 5 stars. But six years later, some of the information seems a little dated. If you are one of the unfortunates who still believes that Iraq was part of 9/11, please watch this immediately.
Otherwise, it provides a cogent introduction to the military-industrial complex, the rise of Neo-Con foreign policy (although the term "Neo-Con" may have been coined after 2004 as it is not used in the movie) and a brief history of unilateral military action by the United States.
I am definitely looking forward to seeing the director's upcoming effort about Ronald Reagan.
