Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by David B — 11 Jan 2010
I know it's supposed to be wonderful, but I just don't get it. The characters never feel real to me and are just plain annoying. Maybe that's one of the points, but why would anyone spend five minutes, let alone a drunken evening with these folks? The acting is big and bold (and against type), but it all just leaves me cold.
