Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton give their best performances in this classic film where truth and illusion are questioned and the hilarity of drunken insanity makes for the perfect quotes: "Burgen", "When's the little bugger coming home?", "Chimes--something rang!".
..etc. and so forth. You can't miss this epic tale of a couple who tear each other to pieces and then pick up the pieces that remain.
