Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Leena L — 21 Nov 2014
It's based on a play, so the film is not particularly fast paced, but this is as rewarding as cinema can get in its performances, screenwriting, and directing. Mike Nichols is able to extract probably Elizabeth Taylor's best performance of all time.
The script is engaging, controversial, and just demands your attention. This is just a lesson in acting from the cast.
