Review of Whiteout (2009) by Tina C — 14 Jun 2010
Perfectly watchable if somewhat predictable thriller where the location plays as important a role as any of the characters. The cold and isolation were conveyed adequtely and it is the location which sets this apart from the usual run of the mill cop proceedurals churned out by Hollywood.
Apart from the completely gratuitous shower scene at the beginning, Beckinsale does well with a fairly 2 dimensional character (as are all of them).
