Kate Beckinsale, Alex O'Loughlin and Gabriel Macht. For me, three good reasons to watch "Whiteout". The movie, however, is a quite average mystery thriller that could have been much better.
It has a good cast and a setting that had great potential - but the script apparently did not give the actors the chance to make the best out of said potential. Pity. Instead we got an alright yet somewhat predictable movie based on a graphic novel that is entertaining enough for a cold rainy evening but certainly no highlight in the CVs of the actors involved.
