Did anyone pay to see this..? From the opening two scenes I knew this was going to be one heckuva turd. Yup. Kate Beckinsale really should be making better movies than this. The opening scene is beyond implausible and is followed by a cheap, needless steamy shower scene that does nothing for the movie but keep the warm-blooded men from turning it off.
There are some "thrilling" elements, but they are left unsupported, due to the fact that we simply don't care much for whatever mystery the marshall is trying to solve. In the end, the motives are even cheaper than we were led to believe; another winning choice by the screenwriter.
Put this clunker on an ice floe and send it on its way.
