I just watched this for the first time and have to say I was not impressed. It reaffirmed how great Kate Beckinsale is, while at the same time confirming how terrible the rest of the movie was. It could have been so good is why it is so disappointing.

The thriller part of the movie is taken right out of it as even I could guess the outcome a good 30 minutes before the end credits and there were NO twists to make the outcome any different. The bad guys were overtly obvious and the dialogue was piss poor.

One of the supporting actors, Gabriel Macht, who I actually enjoyed in the television series Suits, puts in I am guessing the worst performance of his life. It's either that or the audio editors and sound guys really effed up their syncing.

I was really enjoying this movie up until halfway in when I realized it wasn't going to get any better and even then I was still hopeful for a twist to come into play, but it never did. As the movie came to a close all I could think was "Wait.

.. what? It's already over." Seeing as this is 1 hour and 46 minutes long I shouldn't be thinking that but I was. Another twist, more story put in, and about 6 or 7 more scenes to make this a two hour flick might have actually saved this movie or it could have just made it worse we will never know! I give this film a 2 out of 5.

It could be a bit higher, if I hadn't felt so apathetic about the ending, or it could have been lower, if Kate Beckinsale hadn't been in it.
