"Made it, Ma, top of the world!" I'm not a big fan of James Cagney or of gangster films, but this is one of the best. A fast-paced gangster noir with Cagney as the leader of a gang infiltrated by a U.
S. Treasury cop played by Edmond O'Brien. Great script and score, building to a fiery finale as the police close in on Cagney and his gang amidst fuel tankers at a chemical plant.
