Review of White Heat (1949) by Daniel W — 13 Apr 2008
James Cagney's acting is sometimes over the top, and he tends to get on my nerves, but he definitely has style here. His character is very multifaceted, and Cagney does a good job depicting a descent into insanity.
The famous line at the end is cliche but certainly has not lost any of its power.
