The writer and director obviously never saw "Incredible Journey" or "Milo and Otis". I suppose the premise of the movie will make some animal activists happy but it is poorly written and so poorly acted .
How did this movie end up "Certified Fresh" ?? Well, the dog stunts are pretty incredible. This is definitely not worth a ticket price or DVD purchase. It's really not worth your time to watch it streaming on Netflix unless you are a fanatical animal rights advocate or unless you like dogs a whole lot.
