Some movies have amazing bits and other just tolerable bits. That's exactly what the movie White God feels like.

All the stuff with the dog and the girl as well as the dog by himself are really amazing. Simple yet powerful and moving story telling. Yet all the things with just human characters interacting with each other feels flat. It's not there isn't something there, but it never grips you the same way. Never makes you feel invested nearly as much. This could have been a perfect short film, instead they unwisely chose to stretch it put into an average full length feature.

That's truly for the dogs.
