Review of White Dog (1982) by Andrew B — 19 May 2008
As compelling as the plot is, it's executed with a bit of an empty follow-through and comes off as more preachy than controversial (which isn't necessarily bad). It's actually not a bad film, but a bit disappointing overall.
In the end, the themes are relevant, but mediocre film-making makes it lack the punch that it should.
